One Foot
03:12
|
|||
I put one foot in front of the other
And I do trust this path that I am on.
I ask the Divine for guidance
Lead me by the joy in my heart.
Pongo en pie delante del otro
Confio en el camino que estoy
Pido a la Divinidad que me guie
Lleva me con gusto de mi corazon.

The Stars Are Okay
03:13
|
|||
The stars are okay
The moon, she’s doing fine
The sun still rises every day
The trees have apricots
The peaches are ripening
The cherries are ready to pick today.
My heart is opening
My eyes are seeing clear
And I trust the passing of time

Dandelion Ditty
03:24
|
|||
Today the magic of the dandelion flower
offers its grace to personal power
Power in the sense of freedom,
freedom from the practices of weeding them.
Weed them, Why? When they are so pretty.
Let me tell you about it in this Dandelion Ditty.
*Dandelion, you’re so pretty
Let me tell you about it in this Dandelion Ditty.
When you pick them,
you’ve got to play them or eat them,
but promise me that you’ll never ever spray them.
When you harvest these spring greens
There’s so many things to do that are so keen
You can make that yellow petal wine
And that’s a sure fine way to have a good time
Put their dark green leaves in your dinner salad,
That’s how I came to write this dandelion ballad
*
The roots dried and ground make a mighty fine drink
A morning bitter chai, don’t you think?
The best thing about our local dandelions
Is you don’t have to go to the store to buy them
*
So remember to love your dandelion friends, It’s the perfect way to help our world to mend.
By honoring their yellow beauty
We’ll have clean air, healthy kids and honeybees in our community

Lords and Lordesses
05:12
|
|||
It’s raining outside and there’s a cozy fire
I can’t go to work because
I’ve decided to retire
I’ve given up work from this day forward
To play my guitar and pray to the Lord
*I pray, I pray, I pray may we survive.
I pray, I pray, I pray may we all thrive.
I pray to the Lord and the Lordesses
I pray to the Gods and the Goddesses
I pray to the Mamas and the Papas
To the Children in the Garden
Will you remind us how sweet it can be
The beauty of life by living free.
Free from working the nine to five.
Free from all the things we think we should buy
Eating fruit and eating weeds
It’s all that I want and it’s all that I need.
You pick them fresh right off the tree
They are juicy and sweet and they're even free.
*
Local turnips and big red beets
Sweet tomatoes and raw food treats
The best tasting food you can find in town
Is here at Turtle Café, ya’ll so come on down.

Trinity
03:50
|
|||
I sing my love
I sing my praise
I sing to you, my beloved Earth.
You are the source of my home,
my body and my joy
And I cherish you.
I root my feet in the ground
Lift my eyes to the sky
And open my heart to love.
I deeply listen
To the love song of the Universe
And I share my appreciation for all of it.

Fire Eyes

Look into the eyes of the fire
She’s dancing before you in flaming desire
You are you?
What do you love?
Will you be true to your nature?

Waterfall

I surrender into the river
Where I flow with the waters of life.
And I fill up full
And I spill over like a waterfall
Like a waterfall I flow love over all.

If I were the wind
I would travel the world in one day
I would blow through every country
And touch every person and say,
‘I wish you well on your way.’
May Peace prevail on Earth today.

Rain Kisses
02:40
|
|||
The rain falls down like kisses from God
and the river swells in her sweetness
and flows to the ocean where we all come from who rocks and rolls us to sleep every night while the moon she
guides us through the dark.
She glows and grows and lights up the spark
of our passions for our life here today
of our inner giddy that shows us the way
through the canyon walls and steep mountain climbs of our heart's delight and all that’s Divine
Like the wind that blows and styles our hair
who fills us up full and makes us aware
of the Sun who grows all of our food
with his partner Rain, when she’s in the mood to pour down on us
like kisses from God.
Pitter patter pitter patter Rain falls down
Pitter patter pitter patter Rain falls down

Free Super Power
05:40
|
|||
There’s a secret right beneath your toes. From the ground is where the riches grow. Everywhere in the world where humans live is a free super power that nature gives. Free super power.
You’ve got 13 weeds from which to choose. Use your intuition and you can’t lose.
You are wise so when you take a little bite, ask how much or how little to you feels right.
If you eat these weeds every day, you’ll feel wilder in every way! Look all the animals do it, eat your wild greens and join the zoo. It’s the jam.
Here we go! The whole of the Dandelion is a wonderful food, a little bitter a little sweet puts you in the mood. Play the stems like a singing flute and make sweet coffee from the roasted root. If you need a first aid kit, Plantain leaves and seeds are it. Chew those leaves into a mash, helps with your bites, stings and rash. Three leaf Clover has roots so deep, pulls up minerals from a hundred feet.
When we eat that clover flower and leaf, it builds our bones and strengthen our teeth.
Mallow is mellow and good for your skin. It’s slimy and demulsifying. Blend the whole plant into a goo and make your own lotion and shampoo.
Chickweed is high in Vitamin C, delicate and yummy, tasty in your tummy.
Eat the Dock greens when they are tender and sour. Grind the seeds to make your own flour.
All Mustard plants with their petals of four, are spicy and sweet, enough to make you want more. Their flowers come in yellow, purple, pink, and white to get your creative juices flowing into the night. All the wild Grasses have 8 amino acids as a survival food, it could save your asses. Purslane is juicy and pretty. Grows in the cracks of every single city. Knotweed is a wild buckwheat. It grows low to the ground and it’s hard to see it. It’s nutty and special indeed. The funny things about it is, it’s not a weed. Then there is Lambsquarter and Amaranth, guess which one makes the quinoa plant? Both these two are high in protein. You can eat them for muscles like Mr. Clean.
Don’t be afraid of the prickle of the Thistle, drink down the juice. It will make you want to whistle like a wild seed winging through the air, waving its arms like it just don’t care. Put ‘em up. That’s the secret so now you know where all the wild foods do grow. They grow near you and they grows near me. They are full of wealth and they are actually free. So help yourself as you say a little prayer in thanks to these foods and medicines who care about your ability to survive to live in health and truly thrive.

Papa Earth
04:37
|
|||
The mountains beckon - Go.
Climb the giddy heights of knowledge and understanding.
Feed the hungry with your wisdom
Go, go, go, go. The mountains beckon - Go.
Keep your heart open even in adversity.
Spread your wings and fly, fly free across the big wide sky
And know your center is connected to the core of the earth.
Papa Earth, Papa Earth.
Follow your dreams that keep your heart alive.
Fill up your soul with all that inspires you.
And know your center is connected to the core of the earth. Papa Earth Papa Earth
Walk the middle way and share your gifts.
Reach out as far you can go and keep your boundaries clear
And know your center is connected to the core of the Earth. Papa Earth Papa Earth.
Go to the mountains every day and play with me. I’m in the wind and the snow and all across the landscape
And know our centers are connected to the core of the Earth. Papa Earth Papa Earth.

The beating of our heart
Keeps us alive playing notes in rhythm with the Divine
We are immortal threads of creation
Blessing each and every single relation
We are part of an eternal song
Knowing forever that we belong
We are part of an eternal song
Knowing forever that we belong
